Gender Inclusion Faculty Workshop
°Â³ó²¹³Ù?ÌýYou are invited to participate in an evidence-based workshop on gender inclusion in science, sponsored by our department’s EDI working group. This interactive session, designed by and for scientists, examines empirical findings related to stereotyping and bias, along with strategies for increasing inclusion.ÌýTopics include organizational values, diversity in teams, overcoming barriers, and promoting a broadly inclusive culture through allyship in research, hiring, and training.Ìý

Why?ÌýFostering equity, diversity, and inclusion is an urgent institutional and societal priority. Unlike many commercial training initiatives (see Paluck, 2006, 2022), this session is data driven, with evidence of effectiveness from a rigorous longitudinal randomized controlled trial, includingÌýmeasurable positive impacts up to 18-20 months later.
