DESCRIPTION:Summary \n\nWHAT? You are invited to participate in an evidenc
 e-based workshop on\ngender inclusion in science\, sponsored by our depart
 ment’s EDI\nworking group. This interactive session\, designed by and fo
 r\nscientists\, examines empirical findings related to stereotyping and\nb
 ias\, along with strategies for increasing inclusion. Topics include\norg
 anizational values\, diversity in teams\, overcoming barriers\, and\npromo
 ting a broadly inclusive culture through allyship in research\,\nhiring\, 
 and training. \n\n \n\nWHY? Fostering equity\, diversity\, and inclusio
 n is an urgent\ninstitutional and societal priority. Unlike many commercia
 l training\ninitiatives (see Paluck\, 2006\, 2022)\, this session is data 
 driven\,\nwith evidence of effectiveness from a rigorous longitudinal rand
 omized\ncontrolled trial\, including measurable positive impacts up to 18
 -20\nmonths later.\n\n \n\nWHO? All UW psychology faculty members are en
