Academic responsibility
Academics at university can be complex. Students need to correctly cite the ideas and words of others, ensure that group work is undertaken responsibly, and that the division of labour and degree of collaboration is within the boundaries prescribed by the instructor. This certainly requires more attention and care than what you are accustomed to in high school.
In courses requiring essay assignments or written reports, be sure that you understand what plagiarism is and how to avoid it. The Faculty of Arts provides a more detailed explanation of plagiarism and other writing offenses.
Student portal
The university has developed a student portal tool to help students get the information they need to make their days at UÀ¶Ý®ÊÓƵ a little easier.
This mobile-friendly portal will be a gateway for the information students need, just when they need it. Students can customize the widgets that appear in their portal, so they get the most relevant information. This will be a tool to help improve their success at UÀ¶Ý®ÊÓƵ.
