
Pei obtained his Bachelor of Management degree (with specialization in Accounting) from University of International Business and Economics and Master of Management and Professional Accounting (MMPA) from University of Toronto. Pei obtained his CPA, CA designation while working as an auditor, and he was a senior financial analyst at Dynacare before joining University of À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ. Pei's research interests focus on judgement and decision-making in management accounting.

Helena is a fourth year PhD student at the School of Accounting and Finance. She obtained her Bachelor of Accounting and Financial Management and Master of Accounting in 2021 from University of À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ. She successfully completed the CFE exam in 2021. Helena’s current research interests focus on corporate and international taxation.Â

Amar is a fourth year Ph.D. student at the School of Accounting and Finance. He obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Accounting from the Schulich School of Business. He received his CPA designation while working at EY's audit practice. Amar's current research interests focus on financial accounting.

Ben is a third year Ph.D. student at the School of Accounting and Finance. He obtained his Master of Science in Management (Accounting) from Brock University. Before joining the Ph.D. program, he worked as a reporting analyst at CPPIB. Ben's current research interests focus on financial accounting.
Ana Rusu
Ana is a first year Ph.D. student at the School of Accounting and Finance. She obtained her Master of Accounting from the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ and Master of Forensic Accounting from the University of Toronto Mississauga. Ana is a Chartered Professional Accountant and previously worked at KPMG with their Forensic practice. Ana's current research interests focus on accounting ethics.
Reefat Zaman Shourov
Reefat is a first year incoming PhD student at the School of Accounting and Finance, University of À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ. He recently completed his MSc in Finance (Research Stream) at Simon Fraser University, graduating at the top of his cohort. He also holds an MBA from the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), University of Dhaka, where he was the valedictorian. He has received numerous awards in recognition of his outstanding academic achievements at the undergraduate, master’s, and MBA levels, including the IBA Gold Medal and Dean’s Honour Awards. Reefat brings extensive quantitative research, academic, and administrative experience, with a professional background spanning auditing, banking, and investment analysis, and has also worked in academia as a Lecturer in Finance at IBA. His research interests lie in behavioural and experimental approaches to managerial accounting. Outside of academics, Reefat enjoys traveling, camping, swimming, cycling, taking long drives in nature, and exploring foods from different cultures.
