Alanna McEneny-King has received the University of ��ݮ��Ƶ's 'Outstanding Achievement in Graduate Studies' award for her MSc thesis titled: Metabolism, transport and physiologically based pharmacokinetic modeling of novel tacrine derivatives. Congratulations Alanna! Alanna is currently enrolled in the PhD program at the School of Pharmacy at University of ��ݮ��Ƶ.

Rabiya Chandani, an MSc student in the Edginton lab, successfully defended her thesis on May 14, 2015. Rabiya's thesis title was "The consequences of a lack of adult intravenous data on the prediction
accuracy of pediatric physiologically based pharmacokinetic models"

MSc student Alanna McEneny wins the 2015 AFPC RX&D Graduate Research Poster Award. The title of her poster is: CYP1A2 Binding Studies of Novel Tacrine Derivatives

Alanna receives an award from the Association of Faculties of Pharmacy of Canada (AFPC) valued at up to $1,500 for travel, accommodation and expenses at the Canadian Society of  Pharmaceutical Sciences conference in May 2015 where she will present her poster.

Andrea Edginton wins the ESTA award.

We welcome Colin Phipps, PhD, into our group at the School of Pharmacy, University of ��ݮ��Ƶ. Colin is a recent graduate in Applied Mathematics, University of ��ݮ��Ƶ. His doctoral research focussed on the development of mathematical models for the rational combination of cancer therapies including the use of chemotherapy-loaded nanodelivery vehicles and molecular inhibitors that mitigate chemoresistance.

Welcome to Alanna McEneny who began her MSc in Dr. Edginton's lab in September 2013. Alanna recently graduated from Wilfred Laurier University with a honours undergraduate degree majoring in both Chemistry and Mathematics. Alanna received an Ontario Graduate Scholarship to support her first MSc year. Congratulations and Welcome!

  Esther Yun completed her M.Sc in Pharmacy under the supervision of Dr. Andrea Edginton at the University of ��ݮ��Ƶ in June, 2013.  Her M.Sc thesis was titled with “Development of a correlation based and a decision tree based prediction algorithm for tissue to plasma partition coefficients (Kp)”. In her M.Sc project, Esther developed two Kp prediction algorithms and also developed user-friendly web calculator for each algorithm.

Anil Maharaj, a PhD student supervised by Dr. Andrea Edginton, has been awarded a from the Health Research (HRF) Foundation for 2012.
