Happy Fall term! Please mark your calendar for the first Indigenous Speakers event of 2022-23. On Monday, Sept. 26, we’re proud to presentÌýJani Lauzon,Ìýdirector and playwright, and Kaitlyn Riordan,Ìýplaywright, whose co-created playÌýÌýis currently running at the Stratford Festival.

Set at a fictional Residential School in Northern Ontario, the play explores the use of Shakespeare as a tool of colonization — and what happens when the students subvert that intention and bring their cultures and lived experiences to the task of putting on a play.
