Soroosh Hassanpour
I amÌýa postdoctoral fellow at the University of Toronto Institute for Aerospace Studies. My research interests include modeling and simulation of distributed-parameter dynamic systems.
I received myÌýBASc (in 2005) andÌýMASc (in 2008) in Mechanical Engineering respectively from the Isfahan University of Technology and the Sharif University of Technology, both in Iran. I received myÌýPhDÌý(in 2014) in Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering from the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ, Ontario, Canada.

  • Physics-based mathematical modeling of distributed-parameter dynamic systems
  • Dynamic modeling and analysis of gyroelastic systems and continua
  • Dynamics, stability, and vibrations of flexible active structures
  • Experimental and analytical investigation of micropolar (Cosserat) elasticity theory
