Congratulations to two of our professors in the Department of Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering, who have been awarded $25,000 each to develop health-tech solutions by the Graham Seed Fund to expedite innovation to Cambridge Memorial Hospital and the KW 4 Ontario Health Team (KW4OHT).  

Dr. Soo Jeon's research project focuses on the multisensory perception and control for robotic biohazardous material handling and will collaborate with Cambridge Memorial Hospital.  

Dr. Yue Hu's research enhances senior care with social robots that can monitor seniors' health remotely and will partner with KW4OHT.
