University of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ Library supporter, Peter Sims, passed away on November 22 in Kitchener.
A lawyer with strong ties to the Kitchener-À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ community, Peter’s connection to the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ began with his father - a founding member of the University’s Board of Governors. Peter himself served as Chair of the Board of Governors from 1994 to 1997, and Chair of the Friends of the Library Board in 1999. ÌýHe received an honorary Doctor of Laws degree from the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ in 1999.
