Guo-Xing Miao has been a professor at the Institute for Quantum Computing (IQC) and the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ since July 2025. He first joined IQC in May 2011 as a research assistant professor, became an assistant professor in 2012, and was promoted to associate professor in July 2018.
Prior to joining IQC, he received his PhD from Brown University in 2006, and then went on to roles as a postdoctoral associate and research scientist at the Francis Bitter Magnet Laboratory at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
