The applicationÌýfor the 2022 QKD Summer School is now closed.
What's QKD Summer School?
The international Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) Summer School is a five-day program focused on theoretical and experimental aspects of quantum communication with a focus on quantum cryptography. QKD Summer School aims to provide a solid foundation in relevant approaches and techniques to enable graduate students and young postdoctoral fellows to perform their own independent research. This year, QKD Summer School is running August 15-19, 2022.
It is hosted by the Institute for Quantum Computing (IQC) at the Mike & Ophelia Lazaridis Quantum-Nano Centre on theÌýUniversity of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ main campusÌýat 200 University Avenue West, À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ, Ontario, Canada.
A three-day optional follow-up workshop will take place August 22-24, where participants will gain hands-on project-based experience with open-source numerical QKD software tools. The workshop will be led in small groups by members of theÌýOptical Quantum Communication Theory groupÌýat IQC who are actively developing the QKD software tool.
