About Allie
Alexandra (Allie) Piatkowski is aÌýmulti-disciplinary health care leader experienced in projectÌýmanagement, health systems improvement, public health andÌýepidemiology, and knowledge translation and evaluation. AnÌýEpidemiologist by training, she has always had a keen interest in improving population health and has diverse experience across the health system at federal, provincial, and local levels. She values meaningful engagement with diverse stakeholders to ensureÌýthat all voices are represented and to foster better integrationÌýacross sectors.
Using data and evidence to inform decision-makingÌýis also central to her work. In her current role as ProjectÌýManager of Geriatric Emergency Medicine at the University HealthÌýNetwork, she is working to build a more connected, equitableÌýhealth system where older adults receive the care and supportÌýthey need, where and when they need it. She holds a Masters ofÌýPublic Health in Epidemiology from the University of Toronto andÌýa Bachelor of Science in Health Studies (Co-operative Program)Ìýfrom the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ.
