The 25th anniversary AHS Fun Run!
The 25th Annual Applied Health Sciences Fun Run was a great success!
Although the day started with a light drizzle and a brisk wind, over 200 participants arrived on campus to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the AHS Fun Run and were rewarded with sunshine! Expert CHIP Timing provided an additional incentive for serious runners but the fun aspect of this annual event was still evident in the crazy costumes and the laughter that echoed through the newly renovated BMH foyer.
David Johnston ran for the last time as President of the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ and Susan Elliott, Dean of Applied Health Sciences, participated in her first run.
Runners and those cheering them on were entertained by The Water Boys, À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ's male a cappella ensemble. Local chiropractors, Dr. Jaclyn Witt (BSc '03, Health Studies) and Dr. Gregory Lusk provided much appreciated post-race treatment.
Special thanks to all the sponsors, volunteers, and participants who made this year's Fun Run such an exciting celebration of Homecoming's longest running event!
