Oliver Schneider

Associate professor

Oliver Schneider (he/him) leads the Haptic Computing Lab as an Associate Professor at the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ, Department of Management Science and Engineering, with cross-appointments in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Systems Design Engineering, and the Cheriton School of Computer Science.

Marco is a PhD student in Systems Design Engineering under the supervision of Professors Mark Hancock and Oliver Schneider at University of À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ. Previously, he completed a B.S. in Mechatronics Engineering (2015) at Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM) in Mexico, a postgraduate diploma in Automation and Robotics (2017) at Centennial College in Toronto, and an MASc in Systems Design Engineering at À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ.

Anchit Mishra

MMath Student

Anchit is a PhD student in Computer Science supervised by Oliver Schneider and Matt Brehmer. Anchit was an undergraduate student at The University of Hong Kong and completed his MMath in Computer Science at À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ in 2024. His background is in Computer Science, and his interests lie in Systems Programming and Deep Learning applications.

Aurora Liu

PhD Student (MSE)

Aurora Liu is a PhD student in the Management Science and Engineering Department. Her background is Automation Engineering. She is interested in Human Computer Interaction.

Tianzheng Shi

MASc Student (MSE)

Tianzheng Shi (he/him) is an MASc candidate in the Department of Management Science and Engineering with a background in psychology. He is passionate about leveraging experimental and data-driven methodologies to explore how people experience and interact with technology.

Karthik Prasad

MMath Student (part-time)

Karthik is a MMath student in Computer Science. His background is in software and game development, and is currently researching and working on a Virtual Reality Solution to supplement / provide an alternative for speech and language therapy.
