Please join us for the��online premiere��of the Orchestra@U��ݮ��Ƶ Fall��Term concert.�� The orchestra is directed by��Daniel Warren, and this term consists of string players only.�� Members include undergraduate students, grad students, staff, and alumni.����

Please join us for a��tribute to the arrangers of big band jazz presented by the University of ��ݮ��Ƶ Jazz Ensemble. Directed by��Michael Wood, the Jazz Ensemble has been a crowd favourite for many years.�� Special guest saxophonist and UW alumni����will also join the band.

In the last two years, instructions to "shelter in place" became familiar around the globe as part of the response to the COVID-19 pandemic. This��lecture��considers what it means to shelter in place, not just in terms of emergency management, but as a deliberate practice with ethical and ecological effects. What do poets, walkers, and weather observers teach us about the value of dwelling in place? What does shelter look like for those who are forced to leave their homes? And when prevented from staying in place, how can a person dwell? Is it possible to shelter in time?

Resistance Strategies: Equipping Ourselves and Our Communities for Long Term Justice Work

The work of building a more just world includes acknowledging the world that is, and that was. This knowledge can be overwhelming, especially for people with marginalized identities. This talk will reflect on strategies from past and current movements, as well as how my own teaching has changed.

Our Convocation Celebration will take place on��Sunday, April 10,��2022 at 2pm.��At the��Theatre of the Arts, for all students who��have or are completing studies, and plan to graduate, in Fall 2021, Winter 2022, Spring 2022 or Fall 2022.

This academic conference and community education event��will offer stories and analyses of encounters and relationships between Indigenous peoples and Mennonite settlers from point of contact through to the present.

Try your hand at something new! Join Brubacher House 2022 Artist-in-Residence Yulia Balobanova for a fun series of June workshops as we capture the beauty of Brubacher House with pastel. No painting experience necessary— Yulia will guide us through the entire process from start to finish.

Bangishimo is an IndigiQueer Anishinaabe photographer originally from Couchiching First Nations. They are a community organizer for Idle No More and co-founder of O:se Kenhionhata:tie, also known as Land Back Camp.

Bangishimo will be sharing their journey into the world of photography, how they created "On the Land" and some of the projects they are currently working on.

The University Choir performs an eclectic range of music from around the world.�� Directed by Liska Jetchick, the choir consists of students and alumni from all six faculties. This Spring term they will perform��Leonard Bernstein's��Chichester Psalms,��composed in 1965.����
