The will bring together all young researchers (undergraduate students, graduate students, postdoctoral fellows and technicians) from institutions under the GWF program. The overall objectives of the GWF-YP program are to:
- Network and connect with young, water researchers across Canada, developing a community of like-minded individuals
- Provide professional development opportunities to researchers involved in the GWF program
- Organize and promote GWF-YP activities, achievements and social events
- Act as GWF ambassadors within their region

The GWF-YP will consist of four chapters (University of Saskatchewan, University of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ, McMaster University and Wilfrid Laurier University). Each chapter will have a Chapter Chair as part of the executive committee.
