The team members wereÌýAndrew CenÌýfromÌýSystems Design Enginnering,ÌýKenny FungÌýfromÌýComputer Science,ÌýMarvin PaflaÌýfromÌýSystems Design Engineering and ,ÌýTina ChanÌýfromÌýApplied Health Sciences and Idea Lab, andÌýJoannaÌýLiu; 4th year Chemical Engineering undergrad.

<--break->The Ìýhas teamsÌýcome up with an idea, develop a prototype, andÌýpresent their appÌýto a panel of judges. All apps must be designed withÌýthe intent of improving the human condition, whether it be by tackling a social, environmental or health issue.Ìý

The team created an app designed to assist counselors in treating bipolar disorder in Canada by performing sentiment analysis on patient journal entries, giving counselors a "snap-shot" of patient moods outside of appointments.
