Games Institute member Jason Lajoie, English PhD student and researcher at the , co-hosted the Tech for Good Ethos Studio with Dr. Marcel O'Gorman, director of the Critical Media Lab, at , 2019. O'Gorman and Lajoie’s studio is highlighted in À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ Stories in an article that recaps UW students, faculty, and alumni representation at the internationally renowned tech conference.
The Tech for Good Ethos Studio was developed to teach True North attendees about the . The Tech for Good Declaration was written by O'Gorman, Deloitte, and other partners at the 2018 True North Conference. Currently, Lajoie and other members of the Critical Media Lab are collaborating with Deloitte through a Mitacs research grant, supervised by Marcel O'Gorman, to develop a follow-up document to help organizations implement the Declaration.
