CEL may use Generative AI (GenAI) tools in the preparation and development of original course materials*. Staff will follow À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ guidance and policy on GenAI use, which currently recommends not sharing sensitive university data with systems outside of the À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ domain. Your intellectual property will not be uploaded into a non-university-approved system unless you authorize us to do so.
If you would like further information, have any questions or concerns, or would like to discuss the application of GenAI in either our development process, or your learning activities for students, please speak with CEL staff.
*Examples of use can include AI-generated transcription of media on a local instance of whisper.ai, the creation of unique visuals, the generation of alt-text for images, etc.Â
