Understanding PCOS and Endometriosis: Taking Charge of Your Reproductive Health
Dr. Sarah Connors ND, Indigenous Naturopathic Doctor & Birth Doula (she/her) will dive into all things menstruation and hormones, in relation to PCOS and Endometriosis. We will look at how PCOS and Endometriosis can impact your experience of the menstrual cycle, dispel some of the common myths about these conditions, and chat about strategies to support you in living with these conditions. There will be time for a Q&A to ensure all your burning questions are answered!Â
More about the speaker:
Sarah is a Naturopathic Doctor (ND) dedicated to promoting Generational Family Health, helping individuals and their families lead their healthiest lives. Drawing from her blended ancestry of European and Mohawk descent, she practices through the lens of Two-Eyed Seeing, integrating both Western and Indigenous healing approaches. She earned an Honours Bachelor of Science in Health Studies, with a minor in Psychology, from the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ, before graduating from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. Most of her clinical practice has been focused on women's/reproductive health, from puberty to menopause. She currently works as the ND on the Campus Wellness team, meeting with students in individual and group-based settings to provide supportive, inclusive, and evidence-based holistic care.
