The Earth Sciences Museum will be hosting activities at the Ancaster Gem, Mineral, Bead & Jewellery Show.

The show is running from Friday September 30th to October 2nd at theAncasterFairgrounds.

Peninsula Bruce Trail Club’s 13th Annual Hike Festival

This year, thePeninsula Bruce Trail Club’s 13th Annual Hike Festival will feature hikes around the Bruce Trial in Tobermoryand a variety of seminars, including a talk by Peter Russell. The Earth Sciences Museum is showing two displays at this event;vibrantlycoloured mineral samples, andBurgess Shale fossils.

Peter Russell's talk Hiking the Red Rocks of Arizona will be at 7pm on September 30th, and our mineral displays will be available to viewFriday though Saturday at theNational Parks Visitors Centre in Tobermory.

London Gem & Mineral Show

The London Gem & Mineral Show will have vendors selling minerals, fossils, and jewellery. In addition, the event will host seminars and workshops about earth science and jewellery making.

The Earth Sciences Museum will be providing hands-oneducational activities for kids at this event on Saturday November 19th and Sunday November 20th.
