The application period for the Vector Scholarship in AIfor the 2025-2026 cycle will open on January 2, 2025.
The Master of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence and Master of Mathematics in Data Science programs have been recognized by the Vector Institute as a core-AI related program. This implies that students in the program can apply for (worth $17,500) using a streamlined process.
Our internal application deadline for the open scholarships is set for March 10, 2025 at 11:59pm. Interested students must submit the following :
- Copies of all up-to-date transcripts (undergraduate and graduate, if applicable);
- Students who submit unofficial transcripts will be required to submit official transcripts if selected as scholarship recipients
- An up-to-date one to two-page CV
-  outlining your reason for pursuing a master’s in AI, relevant AI-related experience, and career aspirations
- If your GPA in the last two years of study is below A-, rationale for consideration of your nomination (i.e. describing extenuating circumstances)
Applicants must submit all listed documentation to the Vector Scholarship in AI | Applicant Dropbox, before the deadline for consideration.

- Complete the CANDIDATE INFORMATION and the INSTRUCTIONS FOR REFEREES sections below before emailing the form to two referees for completion.
- Completed Referee Forms should be sent by the referee directly to the nominating program and not to the student.
