The Water Institute is pleased to release the2018-19 Water Institute Impact Report, providing a glimpse of the impact they have made in the past year.
This year’s publication, available in print or digital format, is designed to provide a high-level overview of their innovative, interdisciplinary and international accomplishments. On the basis of their members’ contributions, the Institute has been able to catalyze and deliver remarkable research, educational programs, international collaborations and innovative breakthroughs, making the Water Institute one of the world’s top water research organizations.
Privacy and the Cloud: An update regarding the Office 365 employee email investigation project

Police Services, IST warn of housing rental scams
A message from UW Police Services and Information Security Services.
The University of ݮƵ Police Servicein collaboration withthe University of ݮƵ Information Security Servicesis warning members of our community to be wary of a variety of fraudulent activity recently highlighted in the media. Of particular interest to students are two types of rental scams to be conscious of.
The first scam isFraudulent Properties for Rent.In these instances, scammers fraudulently advertise rentals in a preferred location. They may request the renters to answer a questionnaire asking for their personal information and banking information. Once the offer is accepted, the renter then sends money to the scammer with first and/or last month’s rent. The victim arrives at the designated time to receive their keys and learns that the address does not exist or that they have been misled.
The second scam isFraudulent Renters looking for Property to Rent. Fraudulent renters are scammers who claim to want to rent the apartment but actually do not intend to live there. They send a fraudulent form ofoverpaymentand ask you, the potential renter to send the additional funds back to them.
