Aileen Agada, an MBET alumna from the Conrad School of Entrepreneurship and Business and founder of BeBlended, was recently spotlighted on CTV News for her innovative approach to connecting Black women with skilled hairstylists. Her platform addresses the widespread challenge that 91% of salons do not cater to Black women's unique hair care needs. Through BeBlended, Agada is creating a more inclusive and accessible beauty industry.

“I thought, ‘If it’s just an Aileen problem, let’s not focus on it.’ But if this is a problem a lot of Black women are facing, and the data speaks for itself, then I’ll do something.â€

Agada's journey reflects the entrepreneurial spirit fostered at the Conrad School, where she combines technical expertise with a passion for social impact. Her work exemplifies the transformative potential of entrepreneurship in addressing community-specific challenges.
