New co-op fee amount confirmed for 2020/21

Wednesday, February 12, 2020

It’s official: the new co-op fee amount of $734 for the 2020/21 fiscal year has been confirmed by UÀ¶Ý®ÊÓƵ’s Board of Governors.

The new $734 amount was first announced earlier this year as a result of our annual financial analysis and fee setting process, which recommended a 0.7% increase to the former $729 fee amount given our existing and forecasted budget.

So what does this mean for you?

You’ll see the new $734 amount reflected on your tuition statement the next time you are scheduled to pay the co-op fee (see here for a breakdown of when each program pays). Other than that, our commitment to you remains the same: to help you have the most positive co-op experience possible by providing top-notch supports and resources, listening to your feedback and continuing to improve your co-op outcomes and opportunities!

We’re currently working with working with partners across campus and the À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ Undergraduate Student Association (WUSA) to ensure that all students are aware of this change and feel supported.
