About Enterprise Co-op (E Co-op)

À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ is globally recognized for innovation and co-operative education. A signature offering of the University, Enterprise Co-op (E Co-op) allows undergraduate students to develop their own business or not-for-profit idea while earning a standard 16-week co-op credit.

Whether you continue growing your venture, start something new, or bring an entrepreneurial mindset into the workforce, E Co-op builds skills in business strategy, leadership, and independence; all qualities valued by employers and essential for entrepreneurs.

How it works

Students are accepted based upon a competitive application and interview selection process into co-op work term that is unpaid called Self-Employed. You’ll come in with a solid business or social venture idea and a strong motivation to develop startup business processes for it. Throughout your E Co-op term, you’ll be embedded in a supportive entrepreneurial ecosystem and have access to:

  • A wide network of mentors, entrepreneurs, and industry professionals
  • Hands-on workshops and business-building seminars
  • Guest speakers, networking events, and pitch competition opportunities

You’ll receive ongoing mentorship by entrepreneurship advisors to help you move your enterprise forward to next levels.
