Sam Fairburn (they/them) is a fourth-year Honours Biochemistry student in the Faculty of Science. Sam shares their diverse co-op experiences across government, industry and academia fields. They also discuss their most recent work term where they had the opportunity to contribute to the discovery of novel phage defense genes.

Rawan Miznazi (she/her) is a fourth-year Health Sciences student in the Faculty of Health. Rawan shares her experiences at and , where she worked hands-on with patients. Her time at Trexo Robotics sparked a passion for research into the social and cognitive impacts of assistive robotic devices on children, leading her to pursue an undergraduate thesis in the field.

Jarett Dewbury (he/him), a third-year Engineering student majoring in Biomedical Engineering, is the Faculty of Engineering Co-op Student of the Year for his outstanding contributions at the Tadesse Lab at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

Michelle Kao (she/her), a third-year Physics and Astronomy student, has been recognized as the Faculty of Science Co-op Student of the Year for her outstanding contributions at the National Research Council, Herzberg Astronomy and Astrophysics Research Centre. Michelle is also the 2024 winner of the Experiential & Work Integrated Learning Ontario (EWO) Co-op Student of the Year.
