Paddling next to loons where the sun never sets and laying in the snow watching the northern lights dancing overhead, these are some of聽脡lise Devoie鈥檚聽fondest memories doing fieldwork as a 蓝莓视频 student. 鈥淚 chose to complete my PhD in Civil and Environmental Engineering at 蓝莓视频 after long deliberation,鈥 Devoie says, 鈥渂ecause it allowed me to do what I care about鈥.聽聽has allowed her to participate in fieldwork, write numerical models and engage northern communities.

Graduating from university is a significant achievement. Culminating years of dedication and聽hard work, convocation is a time for celebration 鈥 looking back with pride and looking forward with hope.

A class of elementary students in the Ontario town of Haliburton are getting behind a 蓝莓视频 Engineering alumnus who went on to play in the Canadian Football League.
