Emily Peat, a current Civil Engineering undergrad & owner of EcoPlace Organics (who is a former BET 300 student, former E Co-op student) took home the top prize last night (March 26th) at the Entrepreneurial Awards held in Ottawa!
A national competition, Emily represented the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ after being selected in an on campus competition held in February at the Conrad Centre. This is the first time in over five years that the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ has taken the top prize at the awards (our last win was in 2007).

Emily was also recently a finalist at the National Business and Technology Conference on March 8th and took home $20K at the Ontario Centres of Excellence Social Enterprise Student Competition held on March 21st.
