Career leaders

Undergraduate and graduate career leaders provide one-on-one employment support to À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ students. They provide valuable insights to their peers who are applying for work or volunteer positions, including co-op positions. Career leaders attend to students' questions and concerns about searching, applying and interviewing for work or volunteer opportunities.

Client services and projects assistant (co-op)

The client services and projects assistant (co-op) supports all client service needs including answering day-to-day questions and concerns through CCD’s in-person and remote channels.

The person in this role is responsible for:

  • booking career advising appointments and drop-ins for students
  • providing administrative support for career advisors
  • working on various projects that involve learning more about the career and co-op work search processes
  • supporting various communications teams with written content submissions for newsletters
  • acting as an ambassador for the CCD.

Events co-ordinator (co-op)

The events co-ordinator (co-op) will co-ordinate workshops, events and education programs, and assist in all aspects of event processes: planning, promotion, execution and evaluation.

The person in this role is responsible for assisting career advisors and other team members in a variety of ways, including but not limited to technical support, planning and co-ordinating large-scale events and/or pop-up booths on campus.

There may be opportunities to take on additional responsibilities that reflect your interests and career goals. These tasks can help you develop skills that may be applicable for a future co-op work term.
