Ouachita Mountains Goldenrod
Solidago ouachitensis C.E.S. Taylor & R.J. Taylor is rare on mesic, north-facing slopes in the Ouachita Mts. western Arkansas and eastern Oklahoma. Historically, Solidago ouachitensis has been included in S. caesiaÌý´Ç°ùÌýS. curtisii; it is ecologically and morphologically distinct (). In the polygenomic phylogeny of Solidago, S. ouachitensis came out as the basal branch in sect. Glomeruliflorae (Semple et al. 2023). The species is diploid (2n=18).
