Smooth Elm-leaf Goldenrod
Solidago delicatulaÌýSmall is similar toÌýS. ulmifolia, but is essentially glabrous (except for leaf margins) with smaller, more numerous, less conspicuously veiny leaves (). It is native to sandy and alluvial soils of dry open woods and banks of shaded creeks in the western portion of the southeastern U.S., with a few scattered disjunct populations further east.Ìý The species is diploid 2n=18.
The species has been treated asÌýSolidagoÌýulmifoliaÌýMuhl. var.ÌýmicrophyllaÌýA. Gray.
