³§´Ç±ô¾±»å²¹²µ´ÇÌýflaccidifoliaÌýSmall is the more hairy leaved race of theÌýS. curtisiiÌýcomplex and was treated asÌýS. curtisii var. flaccidifoliaÌý(Small) R.E. Cook and Semple in FNA ().Ìý Cronquist (1980) recognized the taxon as a separate species. The broadest-leaved forms occur in S.Ìýflaccidifolia. They can be confused withÌýS. flexicaulisÌýbut lack the flexuous distal stem of the latter ().
Solidago flaccidifoliaÌýincludes diploids (2n=18), tetraploids (2n=36), and hexaploids (2n=54).Ìý The cytogeography was illustrated in Semple and Cook (2008).
