Heterotheca sessiliflora var. sanjacintensis

Heterotheca sessilifloraÌý±¹²¹°ù.Ìýsanjacintensis Semple is similar in leaf margin traits to the var. fastigiata but has fewer, longer hairs and more glands on its leaves (see var. fastigiata for line drawings). It occurs in the San Jacinto Mts. of southern California. The taxon is diploid (2n=18).

Nesom (1997) accepted varietal status for this taxon.
