Mahsa Malek
Biography
Mahsa Malek is a licensed Iranian-Canadian architect and Design Faculty at the University of Toronto and the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ. She holds a Master of Architecture AP from Princeton University, where she earned a certificate in the Media and Modernity Program and received the Suzanne Kolarik Underwood Prize for excellence in design. She also holds a Bachelor of Architectural Studies with distinction from the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ. Prior to establishing 11 x 17, she has worked in and contributed to award-winning projects and international firms in Toronto, Vancouver, and New York. As an advocate for women in architecture, she currently serves on the executive committee of Building Equality in Architecture Toronto (BEAT), where she organizes the BEAT Talk series.
