What does it mean to belong? How do the spaces we inhabit reflect who we are? These questions lie at the heart of TO·BE·LONGING: Portraits of Queer Living, an ambitious exhibition curated by architect and educator Quan Thai opening at Design at Riverside on November 27, 2025.

Part 1

Date/Time: Saturday, December 13, 2–5 pm
Location: Red Pepper Space (160 Baldwin St.)

Schedule:

  • 2-4 pm: Drop-in Tables & Stations
  • 2:30-3 pm: Mapping Presentation
  • 4-5 pm: Walking tour with teams of all the projects, telling stories of change in the market and visiting some of the infill sites.

Part 2

Date/Time: Saturday, December 20, 2–5 pm
Location: 302 Spadina Ave. Unit 310

Schedule:

  • 2-3 pm: Walking tour of in-fill sites (meet outside 302 Spadina)
  • 3-5 pm: Presentations and closing party
