YashaÌý(Jacob) Grobman is an architect and researcher. HeÌýis anÌýassistantÌýprofessor at the the Faculty ofÌýArchitectureÌýand Town Planning at the Technion IIT and the head of the Technion's computer oriented design laboratory ().Ìý His research concentrates on performance oriented architectural design and the use of computers for the design and fabrication of sustainable and innovative architecture.Ìý

He is the author of numerous papers in academic and professional journals and co-author of book on Performalism released by Routledge press in 2011.ÌýYasha is a co-founder ofÌýAxelrod Grobman ArchitectsÌý(). The firm is currently involved in the design and construction of public and urban projectsÌýsynergizing academic research and practice.
