Research projects involve Civil and Architecture students and leads in the development of various environmental initiatives. For example, the leads in amphibious technologies for affordable housing, promotes strategies that work with water to enhance community resilience, and encourages the use of redundant forms of flood mitigation to diffuse the concentration of risk in the wake of the inevitable failure of a single-line-of-defense system.
