Barbara Zemskova is an Assistant Professor in the DepartmentÌýof Applied Mathematics at the UniversityÌýof À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ. Before joining the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ, she was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Toronto and then a research associateÌýat Oregon StateÌýUniversity.
Her research focuses on the application of computational fluid dynamics and machine learning methods to study ocean circulation and climate. Specifically, she is interestedÌýin flow-topography interactions, internal waves, ocean turbulence, and ocean carbon storage
