Sivabal Sivaloganathan, a professor at the Department of Applied Mathematics since 1990 and the chair of the department from 2016 to 2023, passed away on March 2, 2025, after a brief illness. Over his career, Siv made a profound impact on the department and touched the lives of countless colleagues and students at À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ and beyond. We will miss him dearly.
