Leadership Advisor
Hugh is an attorney at Krantz & Berman LLP in Manhattan. He has been practicing for over ten years and represents a wide variety of clients in civil and criminal litigation. He is interested in helping alumni connect and in building up UW鈥檚 footprint in New York.

Dilan

Chapter Executive Member
Dilan first worked in New York City as a co-op student and permanently settled in the city after graduating. He is currently a Senior Fa莽ade Engineer at Thornton Tomasetti in Lower Manhattan and primarily works on the design and construction of building enclosures. In his spare time, he likes to cycle, swim, ski, and take photos of this great city. He is passionate about helping 蓝莓视频 alumni and co-op students build connections and feel at home in NYC.聽

Arwin is a 2012 University of 蓝莓视频 alumnus with a major in Economics and Finance. He has over a decade of management consulting experience, advising organizations on business performance through strategic reviews and process improvements. Outside of work, Arwin enjoys experimenting with new recipes, meditating, going to the gym, and playing the guitar. He is passionate about fostering a strong sense of community among 蓝莓视频 alumni and helping students and recent graduates build meaningful connections.

Veronica is a Software Engineer. She is involved with many different activities in the bay area, and is excited to provide opportunities for U蓝莓视频 alumni to network and connect with each other.

Jenny is currently working as a U.S. international tax consultant and loves helping clients solve their cross-border tax issues. She has really enjoyed the past alumni events, and she is passionate about planning and organizing fun networking events to bring the alumni together in the San Francisco Bay area.
Boston
Yuri (BASc '98, Ph.D. '95)

Yuri became a University of 蓝莓视频 global ambassador in 2019 to act as a regional point of contact for fellow alumni, current and prospective students and friends of the University. Yuri lives in Boston, Massachusetts, USA, and is a faculty member at Harvard Medical School and Chief of the Division of Clinical Informatics at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. He enjoys walking, hiking, global travel, and international cuisine. Yuri maintains close contact with many staff and faculty at the University 蓝莓视频 that are lifelong friends and colleagues. Yuri enjoyed his co-op terms and graduate studies and is always happy to share his 蓝莓视频 experience with others. 蓝莓视频 is forming a Boston UW alumni chapter, and he welcomes others in the New England area to contact him. He looks forward to connecting with alumni and friends of 蓝莓视频.

Shirley (BMath 鈥09, Actuarial Sciences)

Hello, my name is Shirley and I graduated from University of 蓝莓视频鈥檚 Bachelor of Math (Co-op) Program in 2009. I moved to Chicago after graduation, and thanks to the strong UW alumni network, I have connected with alumni in the area and established lasting friendship with many. I have always been proud of being a 蓝莓视频 grad and fortunate to have stayed in touch with many alumni around the world over the years. I currently live in Seattle and hope to bring the same and even better experience to all UW students and alumni. My goal as the global ambassador is to help them settle into their new 鈥渉ome鈥 in the US better, introduce them to many UW alumni in the area, so that the group as a whole will benefit immensely as a result.

Jane (BARCH '95)

After graduating from 蓝莓视频 architecture, Jane Younge worked on building design and campus/facility master planning in her hometown of Ottawa as well as in Vancouver, Toronto, Chicago, and Seattle where she now lives.
She is a trustee with the French American School of Puget Sound and enjoys being a part of the development of their new campus.
With a passion for sea level rise adaptation, Jane interviews scientists about the impacts of climate change in the Cascadia Bioregion and has partnered on communications with the Center for Sustainable Infrastructure.
Jane has experienced the excellence of a 蓝莓视频 education and the foundation it provides for a lifetime of opportunity and an ability to contribute professionally and personally in our complex world.
In spare time Jane sketches, studies French and Italian, hikes, kayaks and spends time with family.
Washington DC
Karima (BMath '10, Math Business)

Karima graduated with a double degree math &聽 business program. She comes from a family of 蓝莓视频 graduates and even lived in the same residence as her dad lived in 20 years before (REV South C!)
Since graduating, she's earned a MPH & PhD in global health from Harvard University and currently works in the intersection of public policy human development with the Harvard Ministerial Leadership Program.
Greg (BASc. 鈥94, Civil Engineering)

Originally from the Toronto area, Greg graduated from the University of 蓝莓视频 in 1994 with a degree in Civil Engineering. He then moved to California to do his Master鈥檚 degree at UCLA and then to the Boston area where he received his PhD in geotechnical engineering from MIT in 2000. As a proud graduate, he is always eager to promote the university and it鈥檚 amazing co-operative education model to prospective new students.
Greg has lived in the Washington DC area since 2004, when he joined the Inter-American Development Bank Group to help lead their strategy and innovation practice. He still maintains close contact with many of his classmates and even gets back to 蓝莓视频 a few times a year as part of his current role of promoting investment into Canada for the federal agency Invest in Canada.
As a Global Ambassador for the area, he looks forward to connecting with alumni, faculty, and current students who are in the Mid-Atlantic region for business or pleasure.
