Dr. Jagdeep Singh Bachher is a triple alum of the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ and currently serves as the University’s12th chancellor. He is chief investment officer and vice president of investments at the 10-campus University of California, where he oversees an investment portfolio of $164 billion. As chancellor, Bachher acts as the ceremonial head of the institution and is responsible for conferring degrees, certificates and diplomas on graduating students.Â
