Exploring STEM: Workshops for Guides and Brownie Units in Kitchener-��ݮ��Ƶ Region

Exploring STEM: Workshops are free, in-person workshops for Girl Guide Units and Brownie units in the Kitchener-��ݮ��Ƶ Region. Join us to explore and learn STEM concepts through fun and engaging hands-on activities like building circuits or coding LEGO robots. Guides will receive a badge and swag for attending our workshops! We're hosting these workshop at the University of ��ݮ��Ƶ Main Campus.

Important information for GIRL GUIDE UNIT LEADERS:

Workshop Dates for Girl Guide Units: Please note, Workshop content is the SAME for both dates

Workshop 1: October 4th, 2022 5:30 PM-7:00 PM

Workshop 2: December 6th, 2022 5:30 PM-7:00 PM (NOW FULL)

Important information for BROWNIE UNIT LEADERS:

Workshop Dates for Brownie Units: Please note, Workshop content is the SAME for both dates

Workshop 1: October 11th, 2022 5:30 PM-7:00 PM (NOW FULL)

Workshop 2: December 13th, 2022 5:30 PM-7:00 PM

Important Registration Information FOR UNIT LEADERS ONLY:

1. We have a maximum of 35 spots available per workshop . Unit leaders can team up with other units in the KW region to register as a "multiple unit". You can also register as an individual unit.

2. Approval is on a first come-first-serve basis. Please fill out and submit the form below including information on other attending units' leaders. You do not have to provide participant information at this time.

3. All unit leaders must fill this form even if you're teaming up with other units.

4. Unit Leaders must accompany their units at the workshop.

5. Each unit will only be able to register for 1 workshop every term to give other units the opportunity to participate. (Fall term is September-December 2022, Winter term is January-April 2023)

PLEASE NOTE: Filling out this form does not guarantee a spot in the workshop. You will receive an email from wie@uwaterloo.ca if your unit is able to attend. Please email us at wie@uwaterloo.ca should you have any questions/concerns. We look forward to exploring STEM together!
