Women in Engineering (WiE) welcomes all students, staff and faculty to À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ Engineering on Friday, September 7^th, 2018. All are welcome!

The BBQ will start at 11 am and will go until around 1 pm. You can pop in whenever you get a bit of time! This is a casual event so people will be coming in and out :)

Please join us for free food, fun activities, plus meet and mingle with your peers and current faculty, graduate and undergraduate students!

An event marking the twenty-ninth anniversary of the École Polytechnique de Montréal tragedy honouring the women who lost their lives and commemorating the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women.

Explore the exciting field of engineering! ³Ò´ÇÌýENG Girl is an exciting opportunity for Grade 7 - 10 girls to visit the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ and learn about the wonderful world of engineering. Meet women currently studying engineering, learn about some of the amazing things women engineers are doing, and participate in a cool hands-on activity.

New term, new opportunities! Women in Engineering is hosting a fun afternoon mixer where female students and female faculty can connect and get inspired over light snacks and refreshments in a casual, stress- free environment.

Feel intimidated? Don't be! We'll have some guiding questions for you, ice breakers, and a chance to network. This is also an excellent opportunity to meet students from other years and streams.

Guides (Ages 9-11) are invited to the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ to earn a badge awared by Ontario Network of Women in Engineering (ONWIE). Complete all the requirements through fun and interactive activity stations led by university students and staff. In addition to completing the badge requirements, the guides will also engage with inspiring mentors who demystify the university experience and technology careers.

Join us on Thursday January 30 2020 for an evening of speakers, discussion and networking with Professional Engineers Ontario- Grand River Chapter to learn all about the P.Eng process.

Our special guest speaker, Tricia Smith, P.Eng. is the Manager of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering at WalterFedy. She is a UÀ¶Ý®ÊÓƵ alumni who graduated from the Mechatronics program.
