Explore the exciting field of engineering! �Ҵ���ENG Girl is an exciting opportunity for Grade 7 - 10 girls to visit the University of ��ݮ��Ƶ and learn about the wonderful world of engineering. Meet women currently studying engineering, learn about some of the amazing things women engineers are doing, and participate in a cool hands-on activity.

New term, new opportunities! Women in Engineering is hosting a fun afternoon mixer where female students and female faculty can connect and get inspired over light snacks and refreshments in a casual, stress- free environment.

Feel intimidated? Don't be! We'll have some guiding questions for you, ice breakers, and a chance to network. This is also an excellent opportunity to meet students from other years and streams.

Guides (Ages 9-11) are invited to the University of ��ݮ��Ƶ to earn a badge awared by Ontario Network of Women in Engineering (ONWIE). Complete all the requirements through fun and interactive activity stations led by university students and staff. In addition to completing the badge requirements, the guides will also engage with inspiring mentors who demystify the university experience and technology careers.

Join us on Thursday January 30 2020 for an evening of speakers, discussion and networking with Professional Engineers Ontario- Grand River Chapter to learn all about the P.Eng process.

Our special guest speaker, Tricia Smith, P.Eng. is the Manager of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering at WalterFedy. She is a U��ݮ��Ƶ alumni who graduated from the Mechatronics program.

Come to this all-women workshop for a fun, interactive, safe, and supportive environment.
Get lots of hands-on practice using screwdrivers, hammers, and power drills without feeling self-conscious and without any “mansplaining!”

Mingle with current students, alumni, and staff to discuss important topics on academics, student life,
workplace, co-op, unconscious bias, etc. at University of ��ݮ��Ƶ. This is not a pity party! For every
whine that is shared, a cheese, or reason to smile, should follow. Come on out for good people, free
cheese and delicious mocktails.

This professional development workshop will equip women with the knowledge, support, and skills
to advance their academic and professional careers. Learn all about adjusting your mindset around
negotiation, how to know your worth, and how to ask for what you want.
