Join the ‘UW Women in Engineering’ Run for the Cure team!
The Run for the Cure is Canada's largest single day, volunteer-led fundraising event dedicated to raising funds for breast cancer research, education and health promotion initiatives. This year’s event takes place on Sunday, October 4, 2014.Ìý
The event is a 1k or 5k run and/or walk. You don’t have to decide your distance or whether you will be walking, running, or a combination of the two until the day of the event. If our team has more than 10 people, we will get custom t-shirts.Ìý We will have a shuttle bus taking us to and from the run location and the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ.
