Exploring STEM: Workshops for Guides and Brownie Units in Kitchener-À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ Region

Exploring STEM: WorkshopsÌýareÌýfree, in-person workshopsÌýfor Girl Guide Units and Brownie units in the Kitchener-À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ Region. Join us to explore and learn STEM concepts through fun and engaging hands-on activities like building circuits or coding LEGO robots.Ìý Guides will receive a badge and swag for attending our workshops! We're hosting these workshop at the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ Main Campus.

Important information for GIRL GUIDE UNIT LEADERS:

Workshop Dates for Girl Guide Units: Please note, Workshop content is the SAME for both dates

Workshop 1: October 4th, 2022 5:30 PM-7:00 PM

Workshop 2: December 6th, 2022 5:30 PM-7:00 PM (NOW FULL)

Workshop Dates for Brownie Units:ÌýPlease note, Workshop content is the SAME for both dates

Workshop 1: October 11th, 2022 5:30 PM-7:00 PM (NOW FULL)

Workshop 2: December 13th, 2022 5:30 PM-7:00 PM

Important Registration Information FOR UNIT LEADERS ONLY:

1.ÌýÌýÌýÌý We have a maximum of 35 spots availableÌýper workshopÌý. UnitÌýleaders can team up with other units in the KW region to register as a "multiple unit". You can also register as an individual unit.

2.ÌýÌýÌýÌý Approval is on a first come-first-serve basis. Please fill out and submit the form below including information on other attending units' leaders. You do not have to provide participant information at this time.Ìý

3.Ìý Ìý ÌýAll unit leaders must fill this form even if you're teaming up with other units.Ìý

4.ÌýÌýÌýÌý Unit Leaders must accompany their units at the workshop.

5.ÌýÌýÌýÌý Each unit will only be able to register for 1 workshop every term to give other units the opportunity to participate. (Fall term is September-December 2022, Winter term is January-April 2023)
