From planning out the next four years in undergrad to learning what to expect when you enter the workforce, this conference will help you gain the skills and knowledge needed to achieve your goals with confidence. </span></span></p> <p><span><span>This year, the conference is split into two streams. What's Next is for undergraduate students who have at least completed their second year of university with a goal of supporting the transition into their first full-time job/career. What Now is geared toward supporting first year and second year students transition from high school into their new undergraduate experience.</span></span></p> <p><strong><span><span>Other Attending Universities</span></span></strong><span><span><strong>:</strong> Western University, Ryerson University, Ontario Tech University </span></span></p> <p><span><span><strong>When</strong>:</span></span><span><span> Saturday, January 29</span></span><span><span>th</span></span><span><span> 2022 from 11:00 AM- 6:00 PM</span></span></p> <p><span><span><strong>Where</strong>:</span></span><span><span> Online</span></span></p> <p><strong><span><span>Visit the conference site: </span></span><a href="/wnwn"><span><span><span><span>/wnwn</span></span></span></span></a><span><span> for details on registrations, schedules and more! </span></span></strong></p> </div> </div> </div> <div class="block block-layout-builder block-inline-blockuw-cbl-call-to-action"> <div class="uw-cta "> <div class="uw-cta__center-wrapper"> <aside class="uw-cta__aside org-eng"><a href="/whats-next-what-now-conference/" class="uw-cta__link"> <div class="uw-cta__wrapper"> <div class="call-to-action-theme-org-eng"> <div class="uw-cta__text uw-cta__text--small">What's Next/ What Now Conference Website</div> <div class="uw-cta__text uw-cta__text--big">Click for Registration Details and More!</div> </div> </div> </a> </aside></div> </div> </div> </div> </section> Wed, 08 Dec 2021 15:19:18 +0000 Jared Stryker 146 at /women-in-engineering Go ENG Girl 2019 /women-in-engineering/events/go-eng-girl-2019 <span class="field field--name-title field--type-string field--label-hidden">Go ENG Girl 2019</span> <span class="field field--name-uid field--type-entity-reference field--label-hidden"><span lang="" about="/women-in-engineering/users/vmoniz" typeof="schema:Person" property="schema:name" datatype="" xml:lang="">vanessa Moniz</span></span> <span class="field field--name-created field--type-created field--label-hidden">Fri, 08/23/2019 - 14:42</span> <section class="uw-section-spacing--default uw-section-separator--none uw-column-separator--none layout layout--uw-1-col uw-contained-width"><div class="layout__region layout__region--first"> <div class="block block-layout-builder block-inline-blockuw-cbl-copy-text"> <div class="uw-copy-text"> <div class="uw-copy-text__wrapper "> <p><strong>Explore the exciting field of engineering! </strong><span>Go </span>ENG<span> Girl is an exciting opportunity for Grade 7 - 10 girls to visit the University of ݮƵ and learn about the wonderful world of engineering. </span><span>Meet women currently studying engineering, learn about some of the amazing things women engineers are doing, and participate in a cool hands-on activity.</span></p> <p></p> <h2>Tentative Agenda</h2> <table><tbody><tr><td><strong>9:00 am</strong> Registration (you will need to bring a complete <a href="/women-in-engineering/sites/default/files/fillpdf/permission_form_geg-uw.pdf">waiver form</a> to the <strong>event)</strong></td> <td><strong>Engineering 5 </strong><strong>foyer</strong><span> (located on the </span>second floor).
