The University of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ takes a collaborative approach to website governance, including representatives from all faculties, schools, colleges and many academic support units.
There are two committees involved in web governance:
- Web Steering Committee: Provides strategic direction for À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ's web presence, ensuring a stable and effective technology platform and compliance with government legislation (i.e. Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act) and University policies.
- Web Advisory Committee:Â An advisory committee sponsored by the Web Steering Committee, it makes recommendations on all aspects of web planning, development and practice within the University.
