Background
Professor Helen Chen is the faculty lead of the WHISTL research group, supervising students' research and thesis projects. She is an assistant research professor, jointly appointed to both the School of Public Health Sciences and to the Cheriton School of Computer Science. She teaches courses related to health informatics, information system design and management, health data standards, health data security and patient consent.
Helen also helps lead À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµâ€™s Professional Practice Centre in Health Systems – an innovative industry/university partnership that fosters experiential learning opportunities for students while delivering leading edge solutions to health organisations.
